Abstract

The purpose of this analysis is to provide a perspective on legal and economic dimensions of commercial gaming industries in the European Union—with specific emphasis on the casino industries in Europe—in comparison to similar industries in other parts of the world. This is intended to provide a platform for extrapolating from current developments in the European Union to find implications of current trends and events, based on the experiences of other jurisdiction
